The Solar PV Technician is responsible for all preventative and corrective maintenance on the solar plant while making sure all HSE procedures are followed. The Technician must ensure maximum availability and performance ratio of the solar plant and draft technical reports on all events.Solar and LED Technicians are taught to the basic concepts of electricity, electronics, LED and solar photovoltaic (PV) system. They are also trained to prepare work area, the structures for panel installation, fix solar LED lightings and connect them to the solar panels using appropriate tools and equipment.
Solar Energy Technicians, also known as Photovoltaic (PV) Installers, play a crucial role in the deployment of solar energy solutions. As the demand for renewable energy sources rises, these technicians are integral in installing, maintaining, and repairing solar panel systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively. Their work not only supports environmental sustainability but also contributes to energy independence, marking a significant contribution to the advancement of green technology.
After completing this course, the pass out will be able to perform the following tasks:
